Pastor:

Bezaleel M. Cummings is the Pastor of Huisache Avenue Baptist Church (HABC) . He was saved in February, 1991 in the hills of Tennessee. Pastor Bez was called by our Lord into full time ministry at the early age of 14. The Lord led Pastor Cummings to study under Dr. Peter Ruckman by attending Pensacola Bible Institute in Pensacola, Florida. Pastor Bez married Rachel Hogan in May, 2004. After graduating from Bible School, he and his sweet wife moved to San Antonio, Texas under the leading of the Lord. Pastor Bez became the pastor of Huisache Baptist Avenue Church in February, 2006. He is a member of the Independent Baptist Fellowship International as well as the Texas Baptist Fellowship of Preachers. Besides performing all of the duties of preaching the Word at H A BC, Pastor Bez also leads the Men's Wednesday Night Prayer Room as well as orchestrates the church's visitation programs, special meetings, and street preaching.

Secretary:

Rachel Cummings, wife of Pastor Bez, blesses the church by maintaining the church records as well as any other office details such as bulletin preparation, statements, and church correspondence. Sister Rachel also leads the Wednesday Night Ladies Prayer Room and actively serves in the Church's many programs such as the Children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. While accomplishing this demanding position, Sister Rachel doesn't forget that her primary calling and responsibility is as helpmeet to Pastor Bezaleel. She and Pastor Bez are the parents of two boys.
